We all are well aware that Teachers day is celebrated since 1962 on the 5th of September. This happened so when people pleaded with him that his birthday could be celebrated every year to remember him.

Shri Radhakrishnan added that to celebrate this day as a teacher’s day instead of celebrating my birthday. Since then 5th September is celebrated as Teacher’s Day.

Dr. Radhakrishnan had a different perspective on education. In his words, “Teachers are the best mind in the country that plays a crucial role in society.” So, we must be honored and appreciate the contributions of teachers all around the country in various fields.
